>>>> Former soccer player Antoñito: “The best moment of my life was the birth of my daughter”
Antoñito’s name reminds us of magic on a soccer field. After a sensational professional tenure with several Spanish clubs, he is now working for the media, where he shares his experience as he does with us answering our questionnaire.

What is the most important value your parents taught you?

They taught me to respect others.

Nowadays who is a referent for you and why?

Rafa Nadal is a referent person because of his strong values. He was won it all and he is still humble, showing a huge respect for his opponents and for the game he plays.

Who is the person that has influenced your life the most and how?

Many people have influenced my life, but I would put my mom at the top of the list. She taught me key values as I was growing up.

Aside from sports, what is your best life memory?

There has not been a moment better than the birth of my daughter.

What are the three most important values in sports?

As I mentioned before being humble and respectful for others are very important. I would also highlight the importance of being competitive, because that leads you to fight for achieving those things you pursue.

What is the most important thing sports have given you?

Sports are full of values. They have also surrounded me with great friends and also they have given me those moments of joy that I keep repeating in my mind during my daily life.

A hobby away from sports…

I love listening to music.

What advice would you give to young athletes?

Do not give up. Keep fighting with effort, hard work and humbleness.

What do you need to be happy?

I could say many things, but I will stick with being loved and having the health to enjoy it.

How would you like to be remembered?

Above all, I would like to be remembered as good person.

What would you like to tell the world in our Twitter account?

You should enjoy life, but sticking to your values. You should never lose them. Generosity and respect are essential so all of us can be happy.
