Carlos Martín, Communication Director of the Barcelona 2010 European Athletics Championships: “We need to offer the media a complete service, so all the work becomes as rich as it can be”.
Carlos Martín developed a great part of his sporting journalism career at Spain’s Public Television Network (TVE), where he was Head of Sports during several years. He has covered on site many Olympic Games and Football World Cups. He has also directed the communications departments of many international sporting events. Currently, Martin is the Communications Director of the 2010 European Athletic Championships that will be held shortly in Barcelona.
